Proxima Remote Access Beta

Hello Proxima users -- we're excited to announce an upcoming feature called Proxima Remote Access. Get ready to debug your game from anywhere in the world!

What is Proxima Remote Access?

Today, to connect to a device running Proxima Inspector, you need to be on the same local network. You have to find the IP address of the device, and enter it into your web browser. This works well for individual development, but will not work if you want to connect to a device in another network, like a colleague working from home or in another building.

With Proxima Remote Access, you can connect to users anywhere over the internet through a Proxima server. When Proxima is enabled, the Unity app registers itself with the Proxima server, and you can connect to it from your web browser anywhere. The connection is encrypted, and as always, you need to provide a password to access the data from the device.

Beta Program

The Proxima Remote Access Beta program will help us make sure the service is solid and meets your requirements before the full release. We expect the beta to run for 1-2 months.

Thanks again for using Proxima! Let us know your feedback and questions!
